I can't believe i actually watched that video (30 seconds of it, to be precise). It's evident how fucked up these guys brains are. For that matter, the interviewer is ALSO a retard. They actually believe that they're making music. Music, goddamnit! They take bad music to a whole new level. Don't scream in a "song" when there's no fucking need to! All these guys care about is getting drunk and getting laid. Seriously, fuck them. Ugh, i'm getting pissed just thinking about it. Once more, i would like to reiterate: FUCK BROKENCYDE.

Go Wiki them if ya don't know who Flyleaf are. One of their songs was in Die Hard 4.0. If ya paid attention while watching it, you'd hear it. If i'm not mistaken, they're an alternative-metal band. They're pretty good, so go ahead and check them out. Their sophomore album, Memento Mori, is due to drop on the 10th of November.

Yay, i got my hair cut by one of moi school's discipline teachers a few days back, and i currently look like a retard until i get a haircut (probably tomorrow). So much for breaking the school rules for say, 7 months without being caught. Sigh... who cares about hair anyway?

On to other stuff then. Atreyu's new full length album is due to drop on the 27th of october, entitled Congregation Of The Damned. For those who ask "Atr-what?", they're a metalcore band, but i reckon that they're more "metal" than "core". They formed like, 11 years ago so they're somewhat like Slipknot and A7X (think: music veterans). Go visit their Myspace and give them a listen. They're pretty mainstream so there's not gonna be any over-the-top heavy riffs or screaming. Their previous album, Lead Sails Paper Anchor was SUPER mainstream (with minimal screaming and pretty mediocre riffs). For Congregation Of The Damned they're supposedly "going back to their roots". Basically, i interpret that as having more screaming and heavier riffs. Sweet.

Damn, my chinese keeps geting worse. from 60+ marks to 47.5 to 23 to 12. Yeah i know i'm chinese and it's a disgrace but wtf, who gives a damn about that. I speak english and i'm fucking proud of it. Haters can bugger off. Anyways, my chinese brought my average down by a good 12-13 marks. And i'm currently stuck with a 60+ average, though i can't complain much about it. I brought it down on myself anyway. My other results are acceptable to say the least.

Wow, i've neglected this blog for three weeks already (damn you, freakin exams). Anyways, after 3 months bereft of any football whatsoever, football season's back!!! Yes , i know this post is a week too late but, who gives a damn anyway? Yesss, Liverpool won 4-0 against Stoke after losing their first game. And Man United lost to... Burnley!!! Yaay!!! (sorry, Mark). I reallyreallyreally hope Liverpool can finally end their freakin long wait for the goddamn Premier League title. Last season sucked to say the least. It's been a helluva long wait. 20 years and counting...

Exams in 3 freakin weeks damnit!!! Screw you time, why dost thou fly? Soon it'll be august, then september (yay!), then october (yay!), then november, then... HOLIDAYS!!! Wee!!! But that's still too far away... *sob*. Oh well, i can't wait for september and october.

Well then, on to other stuff. Go read some novels, eg. Republic Commando novels. I read Order 66 and it's kinda nice. It's about the going-ons between Episode II (the Clone Wars) and III (the execution of Order 66), from the clones' perspective (well, kinda). There's even some explanation about those mysterious new clones with blue markings (the 501st Legion) that helped Darth Vader storm the Jedi Temple. Too bad i didn't read the previous 3 books - Hard Contact, Triple Zero and True Colors. Go read, you lazy asses!

Okay, as i mentioned in the previous post, i was due to watch Harry Potter 6 this week and i did, yesterday. Suffice to say, it wasn't as fun to watch as the previous Harry Potter movies - mainly due to the fact that it kinda feels like a prelude to Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Not that i'm saying that it's bad. It is, in its own right, a pretty good movie. At least it wasn't anything like the uber boring Twilight.

And one more thing, kids + movie = annoying. Damn, there was this amazingly ANNOYING brat sitting at the row behind mine and he just couldn't stop f-ing making comments every now and then. Ugh, i felt like suckerpunching him to make him shut up. How can one sit through a whole goddamn movie with someone constantly commenting on every single damn thing?!

Why? Why is life so routinely mundane? Can't anything interesting ever happen? Do i have to live through the same old routine everyday with no hope of change whatsoever? Damn, monotony sucks.

Anyways, i can't wait for the new Harry Potter movie to start showing in cinemas. Should be watching it this week. It's probably gonna be a good movie.

'The hell is wrong with the music scene these days? They say that hip hop is dead, but the rest of music is dying along with it. I hate to say this, but i THINK that rock (no specific subgenre) is dying too. It seems that most of the bands out there are becoming ever so generic. Whatever happened to creativity? Whatever happened to originality?

And with the rock genre being in such a dire situation, the whole thing is exacerbated by the fact that there are some really, and i mean REALLY shitty bands out there. Eg. brokencyde. Don't believe me? then read these really apalling lyrics.

See what i mean? Really disgusting lyrics huh? Brokencyde ARE the epitome of horrible music. They don't deserve to be a band, let alone make music. And they call themselves crunkcore. It's a disgrace to the rock genre, damnit. To think that they recently released a 17 track album, I'm Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!. 17 TRACKS, GODDAMNIT! 17 tracks of sheer shit. BURN IN HELL, brokencyde!!!

Ah yes, Transformers. One of the "most anticipated" films of '09. And i watched it.

Ok, enough with the funny business. Yes, it was awesome. And there was a bit of humour too (think Decepticon Wheelie humping Megan Fox's leg). Revenge Of The Fallen was an awesome slugfest of gigantic transforming robots, special effects and a hot chick. And the battle at the end, albeit being a bit long drawn, was goddamn awesome. But, the titular Fallen got his ass kicked way too easily by Optimus Prime. And he only appeared in a few scenes. Damn, he looked freakin' cool.


And did i mention that Megan Fox is as hot as ever?

Ok boys and girls, today's post is gonna be about manga scans. As we all know, manga scans are divided into 2 types, namely, speedscans and HQ scans. Most of us, in our haste to read the latest manga chapter, download speedscans. But some people, like me, have the patience to wait it out till the HQ scan is released. And it's worth it. Trust me. Speedscan/HQ scan differences below:

Quality:
Speedscan - crappy, blur
HQ scan - too good to be true (for most)

Translation:
Speedscan - either totally japanese (for moves/jutsu, stuff like that) or totally english, which sucks.
HQ scan - japanese with english translation (always. yeah!!!)

But then again, words aren't enough to describe the superiority of quality scans, so take a look for yourself.

Damn, i've received most of my marks and it doesn't bode well for me. I got average marks for most papers (as in 60-70, even less for some) without course work marks. My goddamn marks fell way short of my expectations. Screw it. And i thought i was finally gonna improve after slacking since the beginning of last year. On the bright side, at least i didn't fail my chinese (61 marks!!! w00t!!!).

It's the last freakin' day of the holidays and in hindsight, i've done nothing much but play Doom 3 (damn, i hate the monster closet tricks) during the last 2 weeks. The only good thing about it was that i got a new cellphone (a KINDA lousy one, i might add). It's back to school tomorrow, and hopefully i didn't flunk any of my subjects too badly (chinese is an exception). Well then, another video for your "viewing pleasure".

So...... i finally made a blog. No big deal, though i mainly made it for fun and to waste my time during this INSANELY BORING holiday. Hee hee. I know this is my first post but honestly, i don't give a shit about first posts. And since i've got nothing to post about, i'll post a video then.
